Obituary of Sharon Lee Moren

Sharon Moren, 64, Deering, ND, formerly of Oakdale, MN, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2016, in a Minot hospital. Sharon Lee Moren was born April 24, 1951, the daughter of Donald and Delores (Plisek) Moren, in St. Paul, MN. She was raised and educated in St. Paul, and graduated from Harding High School in 1969. She lived in Oakdale, MN, and worked for AT&T in sales for 35 years. She retired from there in 2006. Following her retirement, she moved to Deering, ND, and she worked part-time at Olive Garden in Minot. She enjoyed her time she spent there and met many interesting people from all over. Sharon was a very personable, outgoing, and considerate person. She loved having conversation with people. Sharon loved her family. She enjoyed calling and visiting with her siblings daily, sometimes she would call them two or three times a day. She also loved animals. Her extended family consisted of her many horses, three house dogs, Jack, Chloe, and Gidget, her house cats, and her most recent addition of a goat she named, Rosie. She also named all of the cows she owned. She enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping, and traveling. Her loving family includes: brothers and sister, Donald (Jan) Moren, Jr., Becker, MN, Tom Moren, Menahga, MN, Kathy (Lyle) Eisenlohr, Pennock, MN, Richard (Alice) Moren, Grand Rapids, MN, and Ed (Lisa) Moren, Menahga, MN; fiancé, Dwight Mehrer, Deering; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; an aunt; and a great-niece. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; and aunts and uncles. No local Services will take place. A Funeral will take place at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade St., St. Paul, MN, on Friday, March 18, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. Visitation: Friday from 12:30 pm to service times at Anderson Funeral Home in St. Paul, MN. Interment: Resurrection Cemetery, St. Paul, MN. Memorials: are preferred to Souris Valley Animal Shelter, Minot, ND.
