James A. Hansen was born on February 3, 1926. Jim died on April 28, 2021 at the age of 95. Lifelong Eastsider, WWII Navy Signalman, St. Paul Public Works Retiree, and New York Yankees Fan.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur & Anna Hansen; brother, Chuck Hansen; sister, Charlotte Jacoway; niece, Deborah Carlson; and great-nephew, Michael Carlson. He is survived by his nephews, Larry Jacoway and Royal Carlson; great-nephew, Jared Carlson (Amanda); and Brooklynn, Marcus and Jonathan.
Thanks to the staff of Cerenity Marian Care Center for excellent care. A private graveside ceremony is scheduled.
