Kari Stene, age 35 of Appleton, Minnesota, formerly of Maplewood, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Mark Stene; grandparents, Donald & Beverly Willing and Wesley & Jeanette Stene; uncle, Rob Stene; and aunt, Harriet Stene. Kari is survived by her boyfriend, Steve Hupalo; daughter, Makayla; mom, Karen (John); brother, Mark (Stefanie); nieces, Lucia, Sofia and Elsie; special friend & aunt, Nancy Willing; and loving relatives and friends.
Kari was loved so much and will be greatly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 13th, 2021 at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade Street (Hwy 61), Saint Paul.
