Obituary of Beverly Jean Jechort

Beverly Jean Jechort Age 92, passed away peacefully on Aug. 26, 2023 surrounded by family at The Estates at Greeley in Stillwater, MN. Beverly is survived by her daughter Linda Pierre of Stillwater, son Ronald Jechort (Karen) of Oak Park Heights, MN, son Paul Jechort (Susan) of Circle Pines, MN, son David Jechort (Kathy) of Mahtomedi, MN, and son Mark Jechort (Jane) of Lake Elmo, MN. Beverly is preceded in death by her husband Harold Jechort of 46 years, daughter Susan Gatzke and son John Jechort. Beverly grew up in Minneapolis, MN and was the youngest of 7 children. She met the love of her life Harold when she was 16 years old. They married on June 14th, 1947, in Minneapolis MN and together they had 7 children. She was a devoted wife, mother, and the best grandmother and great grandmother to all! Adored by 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and loved very much by everyone that knew her! Beverly instilled in all of her family a strong faith in God and love for our country. Beverly spent 30 years making meals for the Veterans at the Minnesota Veterans Home and her famous liver and onions was always a big hit. She was a huge Twins fan and loved the MN Vikings. In her free time, she loved taking lots of pictures to capture those Kodak moments, crocheting blankets, beer hats, toilet paper covers, mixer covers and designing clothes for her dolls. She loved playing Bunco, traveling, going on road trips, playing cards especially Kings in the Corner and UNO, having parties and entertaining, making amazing meals for family and friends, hunting, fishing, boating, and listening to big band and country music. Beverly was AA=Always Available and was the life of the party! She made the most amazing apple pies, loved dancing to the Beer Barrel Polka, watching Lawrence Welk and Hee Haw and gave the best Beverly Bear Hugs! Beverly’s family would like to thank New Perspectives and The Estates at Greeley for taking such great care of their mother and grandmother. A celebration of Beverly’s life will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Woodbury Lutheran Church – Oak Hill Campus – 9050 60th Street N, Stillwater, MN 55082. Visitation at 10:00 AM, Funeral 11:00 AM, Luncheon 12:00 PM and Burial at 3:00 PM.
