Ruth Elizabeth Nelson (Almleaf)
Passed away October 25. Ruth was born on August 12, 1929 in St. Paul to G.E. and Ruth Almleaf. She was a proud 1947 graduate of Johnson High School.
Ruth worked at the Emporium Department Store, the Burlington Northern Railroad, Split Infinitive Ad Agency, and the State of Minnesota.
Ruth had a strong faith and was a longtime member of First Evangelical Free Church. She loved sports, animals, time at the cabin, keeping in touch with family and friends, and a good cup of coffee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Stu, and her husband Clarence. Ruth is survived by her daughter Pam (Greg), son Scott (Shana), nieces & nephews, friends & relatives, and her kitty Raven.
Service at 12 noon on Thursday November 2 at Roselawn Cemetery Chapel, 803 W. Larpenteur Ave. W., Roseville MN, with visitation 1 1/2 hours prior to the service. Internment Roselawn Cemetery.
