Donna and I met in 7th grade at North High School. We have been friends ever since.
The first time I met Donna's family, they were living in Gladstone. Jerry and Carol were dating.
We attended North High from 7-12 grade. When we were in 10th grade, my family moved to St Paul for a year. During
this time, Donna being the good friend she was, alway kept me informed about our other friends at school. As a teen, this was very important.
We attended each other's weddings, and all other special events in our lives.
In the later 1970's we started a Birthday Club, with Donna, Joyce, Barb C., and myself. We are still enjoying our birthday dinners together. Donna rarely missed, as she really enjoyed going to them.
When we all started turning 40, we had lots of fun planning each other's " surprise" parties.
Donna and I would have some long conversations discussing the world at large...and when we would end the conversation, one of us would say " okay, I think we have solved the worlds problems ! " I will miss those conversations.
Donna was a wonderful friend. She would have done anything for you. I will miss her.
Love,
Diane Dalton
