I will always be grateful & thankful to Helen. When I first arrived in Minneapolis, from Omaha, Ne, being new and not knowing anyone; I just stopped at this apartment building
and walked inside & asked if anyone could help me with information about finding a place to stay. Helen was downstairs at her mailbox, and she began to talk to me, and then invited me to go to her apartment. She gave me a soft drink, and we chatted and got acquainted. She was so special to me. I will never forget her. She even gave me $25 to get my Bank account opened at TCF Bank, since I was so new, etc. She took me to the Grocery Store, showed me where it was, & also Walgreens, & others in the area. It was nice. Her Cat, was so spoiled, but a beautiful cat. I was there one afternoon and I met her daughter. Again, I will always be grateful for the Welcome & Neighborly help she gave. He sort of feels like a Aunt, I have not seen in a long time. She will always be remembered & Special to me. Rest in Peace Helen. Love Ya, Charlene
