Robert "Bob" John Blossom

January 29th, 1928 - April 21th, 2018

Bob passed away surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Blossom of Woodbury; and daughter, Jeanne Seller of Hutchinson. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline; son, Bill (Teresa) Blossom of Circle Pines, and grandchildren, Tom (Nadine), Andrew, Olivia, Erik; son, Robert (Doreen) of Eagan; son, Brian of Dellwood, and grandchildren, Nicholas, Parker, Isabelle; daughter, Barbara (Joe) Frits of St. Paul Park, and grandchildren, Aden, Sabrina, Violet; daughter-in-law, Judy Blossom of Woodbury; son-in-law, Mark Seller of Hutchinson, and grandchildren, Christine, Mariah, Jared; sister, Sharron (Ken) Norby of White Bear Lake; many nieces & nephews; loving relatives and friends.

Bob was born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He went to St. Casimir’s grade school and graduated from Johnson Senior High School in 1945. Bob served in the 82nd Airborne and Graduated from University of Minnesota with degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He moved to California to work for Northrup. On January 19^th, 1957 he married Jacqueline Schelen and moved to Seattle where he worked for Boeing and they started their family. Bob & Jackie moved back to Minnesota where he joined Engineering Firm OSM as Vice President. Bob loved sports and was an avid bowler and softball player whose skills outshined many into his eighties.

Visitation is from 4:00-8:00PM on Friday, April 27th, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Home, 1401 Arcade Street (Hwy 61), Saint Paul, Minnesota. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM on Saturday, April 28^th, 2018, visitation 1 hour prior, at the Church of St. Casimir, 934 Geranium Ave E, Saint Paul, Minnesota, with a luncheon to follow; Interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bob’s life. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Church of St. Casimir.
