Joyce M. Hegge

Joyce was born on New Year’s Day, 1929 to Carl and Ruby Aune and passed away peacefully December 1, 2018. She grew up in Fergus Falls, MN where she graduated from high school. She married Bob and eventually settled in St. Paul, MN where they raised 2 children. Joyce was a wonderful wife and mother and opened her home to help many people through the years. She turned her house into a warm and welcoming place where hot coffee was always on. Joyce worked several jobs through the years including Arrow Shirt Factory, Waldorf Cafeteria, and provided home assistance to seniors. She was active with her church including years of teaching Sunday School, a member of Ruth Circle and the Quilting Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; and brothers, Gordon, Duane, and Eugene (Marjorie). She is survived by her son, Bradley (Monique); daughter, Barbara Hegge; and grandson, Kyle; sisters, Donna (Robert) Roach and Deloris (Maynard) Soderquist; brother, Richard (Marlene); and sisters-in-law, Kay, Deloris, and Elaine. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews and loving friends who have helped her through the years.

Visitation begins at 11:00AM, with Funeral Service at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 8th, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church, 1730 Old Hudson Road, Saint Paul. Private Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Grace Lutheran Church.
