Obituary of Lloyd John Mohr

Lloyd John Mohr was born June 10, 1934 and lived most of his life in Davenport, Iowa. Lloyd passed away December 4th in Maplewood, MN after moving to Minnesota to be cared for by his daughter, Melinda Coleman. He is also survived by son-in-law, Bill Coleman; grandson, John Coleman of Salt Lake City; and sister, Marie Carlson of San Marcos, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur & Linda Mohr; and his brother, Lyle Mohr. Lloyd was a longtime bachelor before marrying the love of his life, Edith Simpson. Lloyd enjoyed time on his boat, bowling, playing cards, and gardening. He was a Korea-era veteran, serving at Fort Sill, OK. Lloyd retired as a machine operator from Howard Steel after being employed at Caterpillar and Alcoa. A spring memorial service is planned in Davenport.
