Obituary of Gladys Odell Robertson (Haugen)

Following 93 years of a beautiful life filled with faith towards God, and love for family, Gladys passed away on Monday, January 14th, 2019. She was surrounded by her children. She was born June 19th, 1925 in Dalton, Minnesota to Harold & Inga Haugen. She was raised on a farm in Fergus Falls, Minnesota with six siblings. She married John Robertson on September 4th, 1949. Together, they raised four children, Valerie (Orval) Osmundson, Jeffrey (Nancy) Robertson, Steven (Jane Trapp) Robertson, and Douglas Robertson. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; and son, Douglas. In addition to her children, she is survived by seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; and the Haugen & Robertson families. She will be remembered for her devotion to family, facing life with courage and optimism, her unconditional love, and for anyone who knew her, her beautiful smile.
