We are so sorry for your loss. My mother, Margaret, and your grandmother Ida were best friends. We have moved to Anoka but have been in this area for 37 years. After my mom died I lost track of Ida. I had heard she died a few years ago. We knew Sandy and Roger well. We remember Krissy and you boys. Krissy was about 7 or 8 and you guys were very little. We will pray for comfort and peace for you. Thank you for your service to our country.

I will not say that I loved you. I will only say that I love you. I know that you are still with me and Erik. Your body might not work anymore but I know that your soul is still watching over us and helping us. You said to me that if you could only hold on one more day to be there for us, you would. I whispered in your ear several times to "just let go" You suffered for us. It is not lost on me that you defied everyone's expectations and let go on Memorial Day. I'm a Marine and I understand. Thank you mom!
